WRITING

GOOD WRITING
STARTS BEFORE
THE FIRST WORD.

It starts with an idea worth exploring, a person worth listening to or a business worth understanding. The words come afterwards.

I DON’T SELL WORDS
BY THE KILO.

AI can produce enormous quantities of perfectly adequate writing. So can plenty of people. That’s not what I’m interested in.

I’m interested in the article somebody sends to a colleague. The founder post that actually sounds like the founder. The About page people remember. The newsletter people notice when it doesn’t arrive.

Writing should have a reason to exist. Otherwise we’re just adding more words to a world already drowning in them.

WHAT I WRITE

WORDS WITH
A JOB TO DO.

01 / ARTICLES

Long-form writing worth spending time with. Business, technology, AI, entrepreneurship, opinion, insight and specialist subjects. Research where necessary. Interviews where useful. Proper thinking always.

02 / THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Having an opinion isn’t thought leadership. Having something worth thinking about is. I uncover the ideas sitting behind experience and turn them into authoritative writing.

03 / FOUNDER STORIES

Businesses have histories. Founders have stories. The right version explains why somebody cared enough to start in the first place.

04 / GHOSTWRITING

Your ideas. Your voice. My keyboard. Articles, commentary, posts, speeches and longer-form writing created around the way you actually think and speak.

05 / NEWSLETTERS

Give people a reason to open the next one. Editorial email writing that sounds like correspondence rather than a marketing automation.

06 / WEBSITES

Most businesses don’t have a website problem. They have a words problem. Clear positioning. Headlines that mean something. Pages people understand.

THE PROCESS

FIRST WE TALK.

01 — TALK

You tell me what you know. Not a 47-question creative brief. A proper conversation.

02 — THINK

I find the interesting bit. The argument, story, insight or perspective hiding underneath everything else.

03 — WRITE

I turn it into something people want to read.

04 — REFINE

We make it unmistakably yours.

HAVE SOMETHING
WORTH SAYING?

Tell me about it.
